Our team of managers are currently hiring part and full time Parking Attendants for a variety of our locations. If you have experience with customer service, cash handling, and enjoy working with the public and providing great service to a wide variety of customers and clientele, this may be the perfect position for you. We pay a higher starting rate to candidates who work our overnight shifts as well as with our part-time Events Team, who staff most major events downtown, working outdoors.

Responsibilities

  • On site every scheduled day, on time and in uniform 
  • Providing excellent customer service by being professional, friendly and responsive to customer needs
  • Greeting all customers upon both arrival and departure with a smile and while making direct eye contact
  • Assisting customers with his/her digital payment processing including but not to credit cards, pre-sold passes and validations
  • Counts change fund or till at beginning of shift
  • Collects cash and/or validations, maintains security of cash
  • Makes change and issues receipts or tickets to customer
  • Computes or re-computes bill from ticket showing amount due per customer
  • Operates register after time calculation (manually or by machine),
  • Calculates cost or transaction
  • Quotes prices for parking services
  • Gives directions to customers as requested
  • Completes lost ticket forms
  • Resolves customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor via radio
  • Maintains St. Louis Parking standards of cleanliness of booth and facility by picking up trash at facility
  • Routinely checks inventory of work-related materials and resources
  • Verifies log of shift transactions against bank of “revenue” on hand
  • Prepares shift report of transactions and revenue

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Math skills allowing quick calculations and transactions
  • Able to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours depending on locations and shifts
  • May be required to walk facility regularly at specific locations
  • Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and parking customers
  • Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to complete a background check
