The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of one or more facilities and surface lots.  This position delivers company, client and customer expectations by ensuring the locations are operating in accordance to company policy and client expectations.  It is also responsible for ensuring adequate staffing, supervising and providing support for the frontline workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision to the front-line workforce assigned to locations within his/her area of responsibility.
  • Respond in a timely manner to Property Manager and Client requests
  • Train new hire front-line staff and continue ongoing training of existing staff
  • Coach and Counsel front-line workforce when necessary
  • Respond to front-line workforce requests for support and assistance
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer service concerns and front line workforce support needs
  • Maintain ticket and receipt paper levels in parking equipment, replace broken gate arms and trouble shoot other equipment issues
  • Ensure the operations within his/her area of responsibility perform in accordance with company policy by ensuring each location is properly staffed, deposits procedures are followed, adequate supply and petty cash levels are on-hand and that proper opening and closing procedures are followed
  • Provide accurate and detailed daily reports after each shift
  • Work with the Asset Manager to ensure potential revenue enhancement opportunities are maximized
  • Ensure the parking operation operates in accordance with company policy including revenue control, equipment maintenance, proper and accurate signage and that front line workforce is professional, friendly and well versed in company policies and procedures
  • Enforcement of uniform and appearance standards
  • General cleaning duties including but limited to picking up and disposing of trash, emptying trash recepticles, cleaning parking control equpment, cleaning the company truck, etc.
  • Ensure event staff members are performing lot security detail as outlined in the event staff job descriptions
  • Assist Event Supervisor when needed during hotel events and Enterprise events. (Examples are Polar Express and Concerts.)
  • Investigate, document and sbumit Incident Reports as outlined in the company's Incident Report Procedures should an incident occur on-site

 

Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must have flexibility in scheduling
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must possess strong oral and written communications and comprehension skills
  • Must have some experience managing others
